The Small Massage Room
A Natural Way to Heal
I’m a qualified massage therapist and a full member of The Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT)
You can find me in their FHT Therapist Directory as well as in the Complementary Healthcare Therapist Register.

Massage therapy has been dated back over thousands of years from India, to Egypt, China, Japan even athletes in Ancient Greece used massage before competitions. As a result of that, massage has earned a legitimate place in the 20th Century as a form of alternative and complementary medicine. From those roots, massage therapists help others to heal their physical and emotional well-being to get a higher quality of life.
My treatments vary from Swedish, Aromatherapy, Hot Bamboo,Deep Tissue Massage, Table Thai Stretch and Kobido Natural Lift Facial Massage.

I use oils for all my treatments and I always make sure they are natural, organic, cruelty-free, and chemical-free.

Hot Bamboo Massage
This massage is designed to relieve stress, muscle tension, aches, and pains. The bamboo sticks replace the therapist's hands, however, I will combine the work in between the two allowing a deeper, firmer massage always making sure to adjust that pressure to the client's preference. The sticks are gently warmed allowing the muscles to get stretch and relax easily and get deeper to effectively roll out any knots and tension with a rolling effect movement. This treatment is performed slowly to allow the hit of the sticks gets through the muscle tissue. It focuses particularly on the neck and shoulders and lower back areas.

Aromatherapy Massage
An aromatherapy massage is a form of Swedish massage adding the benefits of essential oils (highly concentrated plant oils). During an aromatherapy massage, your body benefits from the fragrance of these essential oil molecules as well as through the skin absorption to get them within your bloodstream. This treatment is performed much slower than a Swedish massage allowing the client to completely relax and unwind.
Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is a whole-body therapeutic massage treatment that works the soft tissues and muscles to help restore health creating a calming and balancing effect on the nervous system.
It's designed to relax the entire body by rubbing the muscles in long, gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart with different pressures to work on those tight knots.
It can help increase the level of oxygen in the blood and improve circulation and flexibility.
Table Thai Stretches
Table Thai Massage brings the benefits of Thai massage but with the difference that I will perform the treatment on the massage bed. The massage consists of stretching of the entire body, focusing mainly on the lower half of the body.
Thai Stretch is beneficial for releasing pain and stiffness on joints, increase flexibility and range of motion. It has the holistic part too as ease anxiety and revitalizes with better energy.
Deep Tissue Massage

The purpose of deep tissue massage is to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas. Deep tissue massage can help to alleviate chronic pain, reduce stress, and improve posture.
This treatment is performed in an slow pace allowing the tissue to release and focusing on targeted areas of discomfort performing very specific work.
Kobido
Natural Lift Rejuvenetation
Kobido massage is a Japanese technique combining massage and aesthetic care. It is a stimulating massage of the face and neck, known for its rejuvenating effect. A precise blend of traditional stimulation/manipulation techniques from around the world including facial reflexology, lymph drainage, acupressure and Japanese lifting.
A good routine to follow for a facial massage at home is 2-3 times a week. However, gentle massaging everyday for 5-10 minutes does no harm to your skin. It helps in promoting blood circulation, collagen and fading fine lines over time.
Not only you benefit from the improvement of the skin complexion but also this treatment will help you to relieve tension of the face muscles, decongest sinuses, can help to relieve sore neck and headaches. Both female and male can benefit from this treatment. Your therapist will focus on the areas of concern.
To say that I am not specially trained as a Kobido Therapist, the name for this treatment comes and it is based on the techniques used from this ancient technique to give a natural and instant lifting effect.
To feel the benefits of this treatment the ideal is to have a course from 8 to 12 treatments for skin improvement.
The first 2 can be performed in the same week ,followed by the 3rd one the week after spreading the rest every 2 weeks.
If your goal it is just to have a very nice and pure holistic relaxing treatment and yet receiving the benefits from it once a month is the ideal to go.

Beauty Facials
Beauty Facials

Facials help to renew skin cells by circulating the blood flow under the skin, which then can decrease puffiness and fluid build up that comes from our lymphatic system. Good circulation is important in that it brings oxygen, proteins and nutrition to the skin, while ridding our skin of toxins, slowing down the ageing process leaving you with a healthy glowing skin.
If you add this to a facial massage it will stimulates the collagen production and strengthen the muscles in your face, minimizing fine lines and wrinkles and gaining softer smoother skin. Collagen is naturally produced, but unfortunately starts to decline at about age 25.

Getting a full beauty and facial massage is not only going to relaxed to the face, but also the mind.
